Our Story

We are the Blythe family—a fifth- and sixth-generation, family-operated cattle ranch dedicated to preserving the way our family has cared for this land for over a century. Our ranch came into our family in the early 1910s and has remained in agricultural use ever since, evolving from dairy cattle to beef cattle and supported along the way by traditional dry farming. Through every generation, one thing has stayed the same: our commitment to raising animals the right way.

Our cattle graze freely on open pasture, roaming the rolling hills and soaking in the warm California sunshine. We follow an all-natural program, raising our animals without added growth hormones or unnecessary antibiotics. Healthy land and healthy cattle go hand in hand, and we work hard every day to ensure both are well cared for.

We believe people deserve the option to buy local, to know their ranchers, and to know exactly how their beef was raised. At our ranch, transparency, stewardship, and pride in our work guide everything we do. This is more than our livelihood—it’s our family tradition, carried forward with purpose and passion for the generations still to come.
